Poppy Grieve

I am a 4th year MSci student completing my research project within the CAMY group, under the supervision of Dr Eleanor Leigh and Dr Jiedi Lei.

My project focuses on how autism might impact experiences of social anxiety. Specifically, I would like to further understand what autistic young people who experience social anxiety think about social camouflaging (masking) and safety behaviours. I am using a qualitative approach to try and gain an in-depth understanding of autistic young people’s lived experiences.

I am also assisting with other projects within the CAMY group.
